Sample Sale!
Saturday, March 20
Wedding Gowns. Bridesmaid Dresses. And a Few Accessories.
Now, don't be frightened by the phrase "sample sale." There will be absolutely no scenes of brides fighting it out for dresses. This is a sample sale Swoon-style: elegant and refined.
We will have select sample dresses marked down to amazing prices (40-60% off). This is the event for you if you are looking for a deal (and if a sample dress is a good option—see more below). Spread the word too, if you have friends who might be interested.
Our samples are generally sizes 8, 10, and 12. The best bridal candidate for a sample is someone who is somewhere between a 6 and a 10, because bridal does run small.
We are showing the wedding gowns by appointment, so you must call first if you want to come in and score your dream dress at a bargain price. The prices are in effect for one day only. As a bargain hunter, you must also be a decision maker.
We welcome you to pop in at your whim to peruse bridesmaid dresses and accessories. If you want a great little rehearsal dinner dress or just a little cocktail number, there will be some great finds. There will also be a few veils and jewels included in the sale. (Do come early for these, as there will not be very many.)

Swoon hearts Sara Gabriel Accessories and we are so excited to announce a spring trunk show for her collection at Swoon!
You have seen Sara Gabriel's stunning ads in all of the bridal magazines: a girl with eyelashes that go on and on, wearing brilliant red lipstick and an outrageously beautiful birdcage veil or a gorgeous feather flower.
Sara Gabriel's accessories are perfectly Swoon-y. Everything by Sara Gabriel is custom made and the collection is chic and totally fabulous. We particularly love this collection because Sara Gabriel takes such a fresh approach to wedding accessories. Her pieces are statements. They are artful, fashionable, feminine and so much fun to wear.

We will have the newest collection from Badgley Mischka in for a spring fling at Swoon April 20-24. Like all the gowns designed by the immensely talented Mark Badgley and James Mischka, the gowns in this collection are Ď‹ber glam and just so, so pretty. This is the event for you if you are a red carpet-inspired bride. This collection delivers glitz, glam, and a whole lot of gorgeous gowns.

Siri Mother of the Occasion Trunk Show

It's Mom's turn! She sat patiently and watched you try on dresses…
Now it is her turn to find something fabulous.
Just in time for Mother's Day, we are hosting a Siri Mother of the Occasion, so that Mom can find something stylish and Swoon-y to wear.
We know that finding the right thing can be a challenge for moms. They want something age- and occasion-appropriate, but not dowdy (never dowdy). Moms want to feel chic and sophisticated.
That is why we love the collection designed with moms in mind by Swoon designer Beverley Siri. Many of the pieces in this collection are named after 1950s stars (which we of course love) and we think it is so very true to the mood of the line. The dresses in this collection are dignified and feminine. They are more like cocktail dresses than "Mother of the Bride" dresses. They are stylish, glamorous, and refined. Think Audrey Hepburn.
Practically speaking, Beverley thoughtfully designs for moms with a mature shape in mind (and has a lot of options with sleeves and arm coverage without resorting to the boring long-sleeved beaded jacket look). The gowns are silk, made in San Francisco, and come in a ton of great colors.
As we do with our brides, we will be working by appointment with moms on Friday and Saturday.
It's the perfect opportunity for a little mother-daughter bonding.
