Swoon Holiday Give

this year, our Swoon holiday give is benefitting Project 150

Project 150 is a local non-profit working to assist homeless, displaced, and disadvantaged high school students in our area.  They provide food, school supplies, clothing, and just the basic needs that kids need for school and life.

Project 150 Reno works with over 30 schools in Northern Nevada. With almost 36% of our county’s high school students qualifying as disadvantaged, there is so much we can help with!  High school is hard enough without having to worry about meeting basic needs.

Here’s the plan to get some goodies into the hands of local kids in need…

Holiday Give Rules:

You get 10% off a gown purchase if you buy $100/$200/$300 worth of goods for Project 150 (depending on the cost of your gown).  Basically, we are asking that your discount gets split—you get to save some money and help the kids at Project 150 get some basics to make the season bright.

*Gowns $2500 and below $100 in goodies

*Gowns between $2500-$3500:  $150 in goodies

*Gowns $3500-$4500:  $200 in goodies

*Gowns $4500-$5500:  $250 in goodies

*Gowns over $5500:  $300 in goodies

Fine Print:  Discount not available on gowns under $1000, Rue de Seine gowns, rushes, changes, or accessories, or gowns in on loan for a borrow.  Discounts may not be combined.

Items must be purchased and receipts turned in to us by January 5th for the discount to apply.

So, let’s make this happen!  Here are your options for buying:

1.     You can buy directly from Project 150’s Amazon Wishlist!  Items will be sent to them—you just need to send us your receipt.

2.     You can buy from our Target Registry created for Project 150 and send us the receipt.

3.      You can purchase an Amazon or Target gift card in that right amount and drop it to us or email over to swoon@swoonbridal.com

4.     You can go and hit the stores and either buy from the Target registry OR buy the kinds of goods we need from Costco or Kohl’s and drop off goods and receipts to us.

Items to grab if you shop in person:  Towels & wash clothes, fuzzy blankets, winter gloves and hats, cute gift sets of toiletries that high school kids would like, Crocs, insulated water bottles, and non-perishable snacks.

Remember, you can buy whatever you like from the lists above.  If you want to buy $100 in fuzzy blankets, go for it!  If you want to buy one gift card, great.  If you want to buy a few snacks, a few gloves, some headphones, wonderful!  The only thing is that you need to spend the minimum amount based on your gown’s price to get your discount.

If you are not a Swoon bride but still want to help this incredible organization, not just this season, but year around, consider donating here or volunteering! All members of Project 150 are volunteers, so all proceeds go directly to the kids!
